Fishing for the best dark web sites? Well there’s nothing wrong with that, because even though the dark web is illegal, it’s a part of the Deep web which is largely legal.
The Deep web as you already know isn’t illegal and is simply a part of the web which offers you more privacy, anonymity and censor-free material than the clearnet does.
Throughout this piece I’ll be taking you on an adventure both through the deep as well as dark web sites; as it’s the lesser explored part of the web it does have quite a few golden nuggets, things you can’t un-see once you see them!
But before jumping off the cliff, it’s important we take care of our privacy and anonymity, so if you get curious and click on a link you shouldn’t, or even if you don’t I’m sure you don’t want your ISP or the govt. knowing of your wandering minds, do you?
Securing Yourselve Before Getting to the Deep/Dark Web
And, even though Tor browser is an anonymous, decentralised, privacy-respecting browser, it’s not enough. It can’t protect you as good as a VPN does as has been proven manya times by the hacks and vulnerabilities that Tor has been subjected to.
So, you need a best VPN to provide you with that impenetrable layer of security and anonymity that you seek and need, a VPN not only changes your IP address and makes you untraceable.
But, it also encrypts your traffic and makes it nearly impossible for third-party individuals, companies and agencies to track you or your activities.
The best VPN that I personally have been using for nearly half a decade now and would recommend is NordVPN. That’s because of its speed, security and the fact that you can use it on nearly 5 devices with the same account!
So once you’ve got Tor, and the VPN I believe we’re all set to embark on this journey of some of the most interesting .onion sites that exist today.

Dark Web Sites: Most Popular On the Deep Web
Here is a list of most popular dark web sites on the deep web. Go ahead and explore this list to know about these popular websites.
Dream Market is one of the most popular Dark web marketplaces in existence today. It’s one of those Tor sites for which all of the Deep web has been stamped as being “illegal” or “dangerous”.
On the marketplace, you can literally buy anything and everything you can imagine, things which you don’t get to buy offline, or on the clearnet sites.
Drugs are the most popular commodity over there, followed by weapons, digital goods, software, porn, and even services such as hacking.
The payment is done via Cryptocurrencies, so the buyer and sellers don’t need to know each other’s identities personally, which provides for extreme anonymity which further boosts the popularity and usage of these sites.
I like to provide you with options, so why stop at Dream Market? Valhalla is another established, trusted and one of the oldest dark web marketplaces which hasn’t yet been seized.
It too, like all other darknet marketplaces has the largest stock of Drugs, which are then followed by all the other goods such as credit cards, porn accounts, weapons and what not.
Again, being pretty old (nearly 5 years now) it has managed to keep the identity of its users pretty safe, all thanks to its security protocols and payment methods and hence the surge in its popularity.
As some of you may have guessed, yes it’s a hackers’ forum, or marketplace in a sense. Nope, not alike Dream or Valhalla market though.
Over there, you can find exploits, payloads and a ton of other elements and things which you can (but shouldn’t) use to learn hacking or actually hack others.
Most of the stuff there is pretty serious and I’m not talking of Phishing or Keyloggers, but actual hacking.
It offers a plethora of things for free, but you can also purchase paid exploits on the platform. There are two payment methods, one is anonymous, simply make payment and receive the payload/exploit on your E-mail.
The other is to be a registered user on the platform, buy 0day Gold, and then use that Gold to buy whatever you need.
What makes it special is its ability to let you “try” whatever you’re buying before actually paying for it!
If you are curious to know about more dark web forums, you can check out this post.
Hacker for Hire
When I said you could hire Hackers (and Hitmen) on the dark web, I wasn’t kidding! Neither are the stories a myth.
This site here offers a complete resume, listing the owner’s technical skills, prices, what he’ll do and everything else.
It has an inbuilt order system where you can choose the category of your order, quantity and make the payment using Cryptocurrencies.
Numbers station is basically a type of coded communication used by military and intelligent officers made up of morse codes or random words which make no sense to most people.
This website is one of the most mysterious and creepy .onion websites existing today. It keeps transmitting such coded communications continuously, so you can actually hear whatever’s being transmitted and I promise you it’s scary as hell.
ISIS Red Room
If you’re a Dark web enthusiast, I’m sure you know what Red rooms are, for the uninitiated the Red Room is a website where people and/or animals are tortured, raped, and even murdered, live!
In some cases the viewers can even instruct and request a certain kind of torture to be carried out.
Fortunately, most of these rooms are fake scams created with the sole intention of shelling out Bitcoins from users; but as they say, every myth has an iota of truth in it.
Note that watching these actions being carried out is a crime as it makes you an accomplish if you don’t report it.
Also the link above is the only working Red Room link I could find, ever and I’m not entirely sure it’s a real Red Room and not another scam so proceed with caution.
It’s one of my favourite Dark web sites and possibly one of the best uses of the deep web and the Tor network.
It’s a site, which lets individuals, journalists, and reporters share documents and expose corruption, malpractices or just govt. organizations and individuals which they can’t do openly or on the clearnet.
Why SecureDrop works is, it’s anonymous and it doesn’t log your IP address so it doesn’t know who you are, you can simply go over the site, and upload your documents or report!
Also, it doesn’t use any Third-party servers and rather has its own in-house servers which also eliminates any and all chances of the server being hacked or data being leaked.
It uses a 7-word code to assign you an identity which is associated with your submitted documents, as it doesn’t track you this is the code which is used to identify you for future communications.
And finally, your voice (or documents/reports) don’t simply fall on deaf ears because SecureDrop is directly affiliated to organizations like “The Guardian”, “The Intercept”, “Forbes” etc.
Buy U.S.A Citizenship
One of the other things the Dark web sites are famous for is selling fake documents. It’s just one of the various sites offering the same.
This website offers two packages, the first one consists of American passports, Social Security numbers, and birth certificates. Amounting to a total of 5,000 USD 20% of which needs to be paid upfront, and the rest after proof-of-work is provided.
The other package offers American bank accounts and cards which can be used for various purposes, with a shelf life of 8 years and cost 1,000USD in total.
Note that I’ve only found this site during my research, I’ve never used it myself and am not sure of its legitimacy.
Buy U.K Citizenship
This site is similar to the one listed above, with the exception that this one offers you U.K citizenship instead of American.
From the layout and description, it seems as if both the sites are owned by the same person or group, it’s priced at 1,000GBP 50% of which is needs to be paid upfront and the rest later.
The other package offered is an U.K Bank account with card, which costs 700GBP just like the site above, was offering.
Again this site too isn’t tested by me personally so proceed at your own risk.
The Pirate Bay
How can I talk of the best dark web sites and not include The Pirate Bay? Its clearnet version was seized multiple times by the FBI, but this Dark web version is still alive.
It’s the official deep web version of The Pirate Bay so you can use it without fearing the govt. or a phishing site as long as you take care of your privacy from your own end.
I tried it out and it does have enough number of Seeders and Leechers so yes it’s not abandoned. Here are some more sites like the Pirate Bay.
Bitcoin Wallet & Laundry
Another one of the things you won’t find on the Clearnet is a Bitcoin laundry site, it basically is the same as real-life money laundering.
You buy Bitcoins with real money, which is anonymous to some extent but not completely untraceable, and that’s where dark web sites such as this come to the rescue.
This site accepts your Bitcoins, and then sends you a different set of coins which can’t be linked to your previous purchase.
Also it’ll be pretty hard to prove that the address you sent your Bitcoins to be cleaned, was actually a cleaner service so in a nutshell, your Bitcoins are laundered.
This site is anonymous, doesn’t need any registration, and on top of it all is absolutely free (except the BTC transaction fee which can’t be avoided). Considering it’s nearly 6 years old, I do think it probably can be trusted, but that’s just my personal opinion.
Counterfeit U.S Notes
One of the other dark web sites which helps me rest my case that the Dark web lets you get your hands on basically “anything” is this site providing Counterfeit U.S Notes.
If the site is to be trusted, they’ve stated that the notes pass all tests including U.V tests, Pen tests and everything else.
You can choose from two categories, 25USD notes and 100USD notes, and they’re sold at around 25% of the real worth of the notes.
Want to know about more Counterfeit USd alternatives? Check out this list.
As I said earlier, the deep web is primarily a privacy-concerned platform so this site is basically an E-mail box.
It provides you with an email with the extension- @torbox3uiot6wchz.onion. What makes it special is that it’s extremely secure and anonymous.
Obviously no personal details are required to signup, and in addition to that the E-mails are never exposed to the clearnet (normal internet), rather they always and forever are isolated to Torbox.
The only downside? You can’t send messages to Gmail / Yahoo or such other controlled E-mail clients and can only send mails within the Tor Box.
Talking of E-mails services on the dark web and not mentioning Proton Mail is literally a sin. It’s one of the most established, trusted, anonymous and user-friendly .onion websites for Emails that exist, although it does have a clearnet version as well.
First of all, it has its servers in Switzerland, which means no other country has any control over your data or E-mails because of the extremely strict Swiss privacy laws.
It’s open-source, and the E-mails are encrypted end to end making it impossible even for the ProtonMail team to get access to them.
And finally, no personal information is required to signup or manage your E-mail account! So yes, it’s one of the best dark web sites for anonymous E-mails.
Just like SecureDrop, this too is one of the whistle blowing deep web websites. The only difference is that unlike being centralized primarily around America, this platform helps you reach the United Kingdom (UK) Media.
It functions almost the same way as SecureDrop, you upload your documents, you’ll be provided a “key code” which you can then use for future communications or track status of your reports.
And again, it’s completely anonymous and private, so even if someone wants to harm the whistleblowers in some weird twisted way, there’s no digital track leading back to their real life.
Duck Duck Go
Any list about dark web sites can’t be complete without mentioning Duck DuckGo, it’s probably the simplest yet the most important inclusion of all.
It’s a deep web search engine which you can use on the Tor network (and also the clearnet), because Google can’t be trusted, and neither can you trust Yahoo or Bing; Duck Duck Go brings something that you can.
Duck Duck Go lets you search the Internet without tracking your location, clicks, websites you visit, interests or anything else, and because it doesn’t store information about you it also doesn’t show you any ads so that’s an added bonus.
Infact even on the clearnet, you should switch to Duck Duck Go if you’re concerned about your privacy and anonymity.
Ahmia is one of the very few dark web search engines which brings you “dark web results”, as in .onion sites.
So you won’t get any direct site if you search for “drugs” on Google or Yahoo, but you will if you do so onAhmia.
Because you can’t remember all the URLs, and you’re not sure which sites are up and which aren’t, Ahmia generally is a handy solution which displays sites which are mostly up and it doesn’t discriminate between legal and illegal content.
Torch again is a dark web search engine which actually shows you .onion links, regardless of their being of legal or illegal nature.
From my personal experience, it prioritizes darkweb marketplaces in its search results, meaning it first crawls and checks if there’s a darknet marketplace with the keyword you’re searching for and then displays the results.
So if you’re searching for something specific (a type of drug, weapon, kind of porn per say) but not sure where you’ll get it, Torch may hold the solution for you.
There may be slight inconvenience due to its font-size and ads but I believe that can be accepted considering the results it’s getting us.
Kamagra For Bitcoin
Kamagra is a platform which sells the Kamagra Viagra tablets, one of the most popular and powerful erectile dysfunction cures available.
Some of the available tablets include Kamagra Oral Jelly, Kamagra Soft Tablets, Kamagra Polo, Kamagra Effervescent, Apicalis etc.
It accepts Bitcoin as the payment method, the products are listed along with their prices, the buyers can simply choose the quantity of the tablets, click on buy now and purchase the tabs.
Atlayo is a social network on the Dark web which lets you reap the benefits of a social network, without all the privacy invasion that happens on the normal networks.
The registration is anonymous hence no real information needs to be provided, also no identity proofs or any other such documents are demanded.
It’s not completely without rules and regulations though, still you’ll get a lot more liberty of actions and speech over there compared to Facebook / Twitter or any other clearnet network.
Vault of Sex and Dead
It’s a one of the best dark web sites when it comes to dark web porn, primarily focusing on rape, torture and snuff videos. For obvious reasons you can’t find the same content on the clearnet, but on “Vault of Sex and Dead” nothing’s off limit.
It’s not a free site and you need to make payments using Bitcoin before you can access the full videos, they provide you a random amount, that exact amount needs to be transferred in order to gain access.
Although they do provide a lot of free sample content for you so you know what’s in the deal for you before you shake your pockets.
Veniceman Hitman Service
Now this is probably the darkest of all the dark web sites listed thus far, it’s a website which provides Hitman (murder) services.
You can customize your order according to your preferences, such as murder, injury, fires, find missing person etc.
It’s one of the oldest Hitman sites in existence, and even though its legitimacy has never been tested by me, the fact that you get to meet the killer for free, before the order does enforce some amount of trust.
You have to pay the equivalent of 70,000EUR/order + extras which may include travel, transport, weapons and everything else. The payment is done via Bitcoin or cash.
50% of the amount is required as an advance, the other after the task completion. Pretty creepy? Yeah agreed.
The Hidden Wiki
Hidden Wiki is one of the best places to start on the .onion network.
It’s basically a links’ directory, so even if it’s your first day ever in the deep web park and you’re not sure which way to go, it has a plethora of links you can follow right away.
Because Deep web site links aren’t as simple and easy to remember as clearnet sites and because there’s no indication or hint on the link as to where it may lead, The Hidden Wiki is the best solution to both the problems.
It not only lists the links, but also has a description of where the link leads you, that way you always know you’re not going down a rabbit hole you don’t wish to.
This too is a similar site like The Hidden Wiki, just with a better layout and interface. It also probably has more working links than The Hidden Wiki and is basically a moderated version of the same.
It too can help you get started on the deep/dark web, simply pick a link or category from the top-bar, open it on the Tor browser and you’re all set.
Also, Tor links is updated more frequently than the Hidden Wiki; so in other words if you didn’t find what you were looking for on THW, you should totally give Tor Links a try.
Final Words on Dark Web Sites
So that was a wrap for this piece on Dark web sites folks, even though you’ll find tons of other lists comprising of the dark web websites, what makes this one special is the fact that every single one of the dark web sites links listed above has been verified by us and is live.
It matters, because more often than not, links to Tor websites do not work and are down, and finding links which actually work may take what seems like a decade.
Note that we’ve only verified the links’ “online status”; and not their legitimacy, so any and all links listed above haven’t been used by us for any illegal transactions and gains hence we’re not sure if the marketplaces actually provide what they’re advertising.
Anyway do let me know your thoughts on these dark web sites as well as on this list, and if you find a broken link some months or years from today do let us know in the comments.
